With magic abilities, I meant like everybody can do the same thing. The only difference is that different people have different levels of energy and this determines how powerful their magic will be.
Whereas with special powers, different people have different abilities. Like John can turn invisible, Mary can teleport, etc etc. The possibilities are endless! But its hardly fair because the different abilities function differently and therefore have different levels of usefulness.
So, which one would you rather have? Ability to do magic or have unique special powers?

I think I would choose super powers. Since with magic, you would have to possibly cast spells but with super powers you just do your abilities.
